SGNC (Shri Gurudev Netra Chikitsalaya) was founded in 2002 by Dr. Tejesh A. Mehta, inspired by the divine guidance and blessings of Gurudev Shri Ranchoddasji Maharaj.

Glaucoma is one of the most common—and most dangerous—eye diseases, often called the “silent thief of sight” because it causes slow, painless, and irreversible damage to the optic nerve. The optic nerve carries visual signals from the eye to the brain, and once damaged, vision loss cannot be restored.

MICS Cataract Surgery at SGNC

SGNC में मोतियाबिंद की MICS सर्जरी

ऑपरेशन के बाद आप ख़ुद गाड़ी चला कर सीधे ऑफिस जा सकेंगे। SGNC में हम अत्याधुनिक MICS (Micro Incision Cataract Surgery) तकनीक से मोतियाबिंद की सर्जरी करते हैं। यह एक आधुनिक, सुरक्षित और आरामदायक प्रक्रिया है। इस सर्जरी में ना इंजेक्शन लगता है, ना टांका, और ना पट्टी की आवश्यकता होती है। सिर्फ़ एक बहुत छोटे छेद से लेंस बदला जाता है, जिससे रोगी को जल्दी आराम मिलता है और तकलीफ़ बहुत कम होती है।

Squint treatment & Surgery

Squint (strabismus) is treatable at any age with a combination of glasses, eye exercises, patching, and advanced surgical options. Treatment begins by identifying the underlying cause—whether it is a refractive error, muscle imbalance, or a neurological issue. Many children show significant improvement with spectacles and amblyopia therapy (patching).
For persistent or large-angle squint, squint muscle surgery is recommended, where the eye muscles are either strengthened or weakened to properly align the eyes. Modern squint surgery is safe, stitch-less or involves minimal stitches, performed under local or general anesthesia, and patients can usually go home the same day.
Early treatment greatly improves cosmetic appearance, depth perception, and overall visual development.

Cornea Transplant - Keratoplasty

Keratoplasty, DALK & DSEK at SGNC

In this procedure, the abnormal fleshy growth is carefully removed, and a preserved amniotic membrane—a natural healing layer derived from the placenta—is placed over the affected area using fibrin glue instead of stitches.
